John Dominic Maleno and Marcella Marie Fischer
were married on October 18, 1947
at St. Peters Cathedral in Erie, PA
The ceremony was followed by a dinner and
reception at Hotel Vernon. Then off to
Niagara Falls for their honeymoon. They stayed
at Hotel Niagara. Then they traveled to Canada.
They stayed in Trenton, Ontario. Then they
visited St. Joseph Shrine in Montreal. Also did a
sightseeing tour in Montreal. John commented that
Montreal was a “fabulous city.” They then visited
Watertown, Oswego, Rochester and Batavia NY.
Then Allegheny State Park, and after 7
days returned to Warren, PA
