The Maleno Family Reunion

Proposal & Wedding

On August 25, 1947 John Maleno proposed to Marcella Fisher!! In the next month they planned a small wedding and reception. They painted and cleaned their newly rented apartment on West 8th Street to get it ready for the new family of three, John, Marcella and little Tommy! Even though the new apartment was not far from work, John bought a 1937 Ford coupe for $350.

The happy couple then returned to Erie to start their life together as Mr. and Mrs. John D. Maleno.
